This version from Japan takes it a step further to make a gabardine that's functional and luxurious. The base is an ultra fine, tightly constructed 7 ounces. Then comes the hemp. The blend of hemp with cotton lends enhanced durability, breathability and temperature regulation. The result is a feel that is truly luxurious. It's extremely smooth and supple. The surface almost feels like it has a soft peached finish. The finish displays not shine, which is common with gabardines, yielding a more organic look.
