We see a lot of selvedge denim. When we find a style that makes us stop cold in our tracks and want it for our personal collections, we know it's a winner.
Gustin jeans made from sanforized raw selvedge denim from one of the finest mills in Japan. The Slub16 is serious fabric. It's super dense and crispy. Aside from the Super Heavy and Super Heavy Slub, this style is among the heaviest weights we've offered at 16oz. The slubbiness is intense in both the warp and weft yarns. This character in the yarn gives it a very distinct vertical grain, nice crosshatching and brightness from the white weft. All this complexity and texture is wrapped up in a classic dark indigo shade and red selvedge ID. It will get our heavy veg tan leather patch. We're first in line for these.
